Located in the center of Halong City, Sun World Halong Complex is a new addition to the Halong Bay’s top attractions since 2017. It is praised as the leading entertainment hub of northern Vietnam with a world-class gaming system and an abundance of recreational activities for all ages. The theme park sprawls across 214 ha and comprises 3 major areas: Queen Cable Car & Mystic Mountain, Dragon Park, and Typhoon Water Park.
Sun World Halong Park is best to visit from May to September as you can experience all the games without much effects of the weather. However, on all Saturdays and Sundays in May, June, and July, entrance tickets for Dragon Park, Typhoon Park, and the combo will incur an additional charge of 50.000 VND. If you travel during this peak season, just expect a surge in domestic travelers visiting the park when the SUMMER school holiday begins.
During winter time from October to April, the Typhoon Water Park is closed for maintenance so visitors cannot enjoy water activities. (This maintainance was finished)
Getting to Sun World Halong Complex from Hanoi is increasingly convenient with a number of daily buses running from My Dinh Bus Station to Bai Chay Bus Station and Halong City on the new Hanoi - Halong highway.
From My Dinh bus station, you can get on any buses to Mong Cai, Cua Ong, Bai Chay, Cam Pha or Halong. Ticket prices range from 80.000 VND to 120.000 VND depending on car types. Upon arrival, catch a taxi, motorbike taxi, or a bus (No.03 Hon Gai - Hoanh Bo) to Sun World Halong Complex. No prior reservation is needed.

For a more hassle-free transfer, you can choose limousine transfer service provided by Kumho Viet Thanh and Ka Long limousine VIP transfer companies. The total journey time is around 2 - 2.5 hours.

Dragon Park boasts a prominent them park with more than 20 extreme games namely Dragon’s Run, Rhino Sling, and Monster Spin. Some intense games have height restrictions to limit kids. Meanwhile, the Mystic Mountain is inspired by Japanese architecture and includes various areas including Sun Wheel, Game World, Kidoland children’s play area, and Japanese Garden. All the games in this area are gentle and suitable for all ages.
